This really did work for me! I have an almost flat belly to start with, and I used to do ballet and stopped a few years back, so I had lost a lost of muscle/definition. I could really see a difference in a few weeks! I'm not so sure it would work as well with someone who doesn't already have an almost flat tummy. The only thing with this, was after awhile I just stopped using it, got tired of having to put it on everyday :-P I use it for 2 months, and then stop using it for a bit.. then start using it again. Works okay for me that way.

Amazing product.
I have been using the slendertone for the past six weeks. I work out regularly, and I am at my ideal weight. However after delivering my baby a year and half ago, I lost my six pack. Ever since using the slendertone, I have notice a huge improvement on my muscular toning that I had been unable to obtain with my workout alone. I would recommend this product to people that exercise and eat right and want to get some extra help. This is not a product designed for people that need to lose weight.

Double Duty
I'm in love with this product. I wear it when I workout to get an extra burn, and when I clean the house or watch TV to be doubly productive. I would recommend this to any and everyone with either a busy lifestyle or a sedentary one. This thing really works.

so far I havent seen any results, but it does say that it takes up to 6 weeks to see results and I have only been using it for about 3 weeks. I do feel the muscles tightening up as it says it is suppose to do... so now it is a wait and see....

Like my bike
I'm so glad I got this exercise bike from Amazon.com. It was recommended by my son who has one, and it is as good as he said it is.
Even though it's freezing and windy outside I can watch a half hour show or the news and get a good workout (in good weather I play as much tennis as I can). As I pedal I add a variety of arm exercises to tone and to increase the cardio effect.
This exercycle is compact and quiet, the seat is extremely comfortable, and it is easy to move across the room or to fold and put out of the way.
A very good value. I definitely recommend it.

No Doubt
I was interested in getting a good workout for my thighs. I read the reviews...they were either too good or not the answer I was looking for. So far I have not been disappointed and I usually spend up up to 30 minutes in a steady workout per day. It is what it is, a bike made for exercise!

I may actually use this for exercing, not as a coat rack!
It came quickly but was missing the front stablizer so I contacted the seller to find a number/address for the manufacturer but seller immediately sent replacement part, so I'm good. I used it today and found the bike works really well, I worked up a nice sweat (but I'm horribly out of shape).

Cons: I'm a short person so mounting the bike can get a little tricky, especially if my hip joints were in their "don't expect me to lift my leg" mode. It's not all that easy for me to get on, or off, the bike. The V where the seat and the arms intersect is too high for my short legs and that may dissuade me from buying another in the future. The seat is also too hard even though I bought and installed the double-gel seat cover. I had to dismount about every 10 mins to allow my backside to regain circulation and stop hurting so much. After 30 mins, I had to stop. I'm aiming to do an hour daily so I'm not sure how well that's going to work out since I don't have a lot of free time in any given day for recirculation breaks.

Pros: It's easy to put together and does fold out of the way--and in a small apartment that's huge. I watched the news and did some arm exercises while I was pedaling--maybe I'll buy wrist weights and work my upper body while the lower is pedaling. I did work up a nice sweat--so set your water within reach, and a nice damp towel to swab your brow and hands is a good idea. Bike feels real stable, computer was easy to read and easy to figure out (I do have to make a chart so I can keep track of my efforts). I got a neck ache so I'll have to figure out what posture is best for this biking thing.

All in all, it's worth the price. No, it's not for people already bike fit and in geat athletic shape because it won't give you the challenge you want. But for people like me, who have lives that often supercede exercising, it's a nice bike to get a little work out on as time allows (I'll be able to ride even when everyone else is sound asleep without disturbing them). I am determined to get into better shape and this should help. I might even be able to read while pedaling (too bad you can't buy a book rack for it).

Great Bike; Awful Seat
This bike is actually pretty nice and inexpensive as far as exercise equipment goes. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. The wheel is super quiet which means you can watch TV or I have even read while riding it. My only complaint is the horrible seat. It is really uncomfortable. I bought the Amazon recommended La-Z-Boy Triple Gel Bicycle Seat Cover which didn't fit quite right nor did it really help. I just sit on a cushion when I work out. Seems to work fine.

Nice and Quiet
I really like this little bike. I've been using it for two weeks. It fits perfectly in the corner of my room and I can watch TV without turning up the volume. I'm 5'6" so it is a nice size for me. As other reviewers have mentioned, the instructions for putting it together are pretty bad, but you can figure it out pretty easily yourself. I don't find the seat hard like other reviewers. I'm glad there is a product like this out there.

Good for quickie workouts; too flimsy for anything more
The space-saving design is a lifesaver, but with that comes flimsy construction as others have mentioned. I used it regularly for just under 90 days, and by regularly I mean 3-4 times a week for 20-30 minutes each. The workout was great! However, at just a few days shy of the 90 day warranty the cable broke. I requested a new one and never received it (2 months later), even after calling the company who told me it would be in the mail. Definitely would not recommend unless you just use it as a backup source of exercise maybe once a week.

Not good - too hard to press down. If I utilized steppers before and this one was the worse one ever.

I ordered "Stamina InStride Electronic Stepper" last month.It has been only one month since I got it.But, yesterday when I used it,its steel wire rope snapped suddenly ! This stepper broke down!

Happy camper
It's exactly as advertised. So far I haven't had any problems. The assembly on it is very easy. It's very sturdy. My only concert is it's not making a funny, aqueaky noise in it's pully system. It hasn't affected how it works but make me nervous that it eventually could. Other than that, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great product!
I was a little skeptical when I read some of the reviews where people had problems with it breaking, but I am so glad I bought this stepper. I've been using it for a month, 6 days a week and no problems so far. It gives me a great workout. The only criticism I have is that the counter is inaccurate, but I just keep track of my progress using the timer instead of the number of steps. Also, it did squeak a little bit, but I read a suggestion from another reviewer recommending to WD40 the cable ends and the squeaking stopped immediately.

A great product for the price. I hate exercising, but don't mind it using this stepper. I've already lost 10 pounds!

Fitness Quest XL Stepper
I really like my Fitness Stepper. I was easy to put together. It is convenient and easy to move from one room to the another room. I usually use my stepper in the morning while doing my hair and before I go to bed while watching the news.

I am a very active person and I go to the gym often.

I got this machine last month so that I can work out more while I am at home.
Believe it or not after only 5 mins of using the machine I started sweating.
The only down side is that it makes noices but I use it when I watch TV so the noice is not bothering me at all.

Best Stepper ever
I put this under my desk at work and It keep my circulation working. I take him home for the weekends and use it while I watch tv and it gives me quite a work out.

nice workout
This stepper is great for me because its easy to use but still makes a nice nice aerobic workout. Great for apartments and to use while watching tv. mine is quiet and Ive been using if for a few weeks. I also like that its adjustable. I would recommend this item. Still not sure how long it lasts but i like it for now. Great for the price.

Great Bike Trainer for the Price
I live in a cold climate. When the wind is howling and the snow is falling I work up a sweat in my living room using this bike trainer. Inexpensive but does the trick. Easy to assemble.

It keeps me off the roads
It's been so good to me. It's such a life saver. It keeps me warm and indoors and off the streets. Um... I don't know what to write... it works!!

Pretty nice, a bit noisy!
Got this for xmas from my girlfriend. Pretty nice. Comes completely setup, all you need to do is add the bike. Comes with a quick release skewer...not sure what it is really for...I guess a bike that does not have quick release on the rear wheel.

I am using this on my one of my mountain bikes and is a bit loud with the current tires so I am getting some Panaracer High Road V ATB Tire hoping that they will quite it down a bit.

The stand is sturdy and is cheaper than buying a exercise bike (since I already have a few bikes). Space is a concern of mine....while fully assembled with the bike attached, it is no different than having an exercise bike. However, the unit itself can be folded and stored anywhere. it folds up and can be easily stored under a bed.

if you do not have a bike and are looking for something, i'd recommend an exercise bike, but if you already have a bike, i'd get this.

Doesn't Say It Doesn't Fit All Bikes
I bought this trainer for my son who has tons of energy and who lives in a place that gets cold and inhospitable to biking outside in the winter. When it arrived over a week late -- due to that same inhospitable weather -- we discovered that it doesn't work for kid size bikes. And it doesn't say that anywhere.

Bell Motivator
Dollar for dollar it's the best thing going. Easy to set up and use. The resistance is adjusted with the bikes gears. It is a bit on the noisey side.

Had it for a year now and it's a good machine.
I've had this unit for a year. It is still in good shape. It works very well. It is just right for home. It has been sturdy and hasn't had any problems in one year. I use it about 3-5 times a week for 30-45 minutes. I'm giving it 4 stars because it isn't a stellar machine. Do not expect a Precor or whatever you've been using at the gym. This is not that quality, but it also isn't a 00 machine. It is a great elliptical for the price!!

418 Elliptical a terrific machine
I purchased a Schwinn 418 Elliptical Trainer early 2008 after reading lot of good review about it at Amazon. After couple month of using it the machine is working just fine. Easy to assembly, no missing part.
Me I my wife use the machine 1 hours a day five days a week. It is very smooth, and dependable but kind of noisy.
Over all, it's been a terrific machine, no complain.

Pretty Decent
I ordered this elliptical because of the positive rating it was given on CR. The price on Amazon was the best around by at least 0 and with free shipping, it was a no-brainer. The machine seems pretty sturdy and well-made and was easy for me to assemble. I've enjoyed many workouts on it and I'm sure I will enjoy many more. The different programs keep it interesting and I can continue to increase intensity as I get into better shape.

I've had the machine over a year now and I'm happy with it. It does squeak sometimes, but that is easily fixed with a spray of silicone lubricant that is about a can at any home improvement store. The only other negative thing I could possibly say about the machine is that the calorie count is way off. It says that I burn over 1,200 calories a workout when in reality, I've only burned about 300.

The positives outweigh the negatives by far with this machine. It's been a year and I'm still very satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent value
The elliptical is my favorite machine at the gym. I wanted to have one at home so it would be more convenient to use. But, I was concerned it would feel cheap or unstable. I have been very pleased with this purchase. The machine was fairly easy to assemble and feels sturdy while in use.

Honestly - It's Junk
I very seldom review products, but this one has been such a letdown I felt obligated to let others know my experience. I bought this because of a Consumer Reports recommendation and although I've had very good luck with their recommendations in the past, they missed it on this one. Without boring you with a bunch of detail I can sum it up with 200 dollars in repairs within the year. My recommendation would be if you just want an elliptical to hang clothes on, this will work fine, but if you want use it a couple times a week look elsewhere like Sole (my sole treadmill is fantastic). Schwinn used to make good stuff, but now have slipped to the quality of what you'll find at discount retail stores. It'll just take a few more years until word gets out that Schwinn quality is no more and the brand name will be destroyed. Right now they are just using the brand and selling junk. That's too bad. I suggest spending a little more for a good elliptical instead of giving a little less and then having to be troubled with breakdowns that when finished will put you right at the price of a good machine.
