Slendertone uses clinically proven, patent-pending C.S.I. The unique construction of the Slendertone Flex features three pre-positioned, medical-grade GelPads, covering the central abdominal muscles and external obliques. Signals from the belt reach out to nerves where they are most concentrated. These nerves branch out to reach all the abdominal muscles (not just those under the pads) causing them to relax and contract naturally, exercising all the muscles at the same time.
Used regularly (as little as 30 minutes a day) in conjunction with a healthy diet and some moderate exercise, you will notice results within 8 weeks. You can wear the Slendertone Flex when you just don't have time in your hectic schedule to hit the gym or go for a run, or wear it during your workout for added emphasis.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it
It's very easy to use and it really works; need to have it : )

slendertone
so far I havent seen any results, but it does say that it takes up to 6 weeks to see results and I have only been using it for about 3 weeks. I do feel the muscles tightening up as it says it is suppose to do... so now it is a wait and see....

Great
I have owned this belt for about 2 months now...i had an "ab belt" in high school and it only pulsed a lil...but this is the real deal....after ya reach like 15-20 on the intensity(that goes to 100) you can actually feel the muscles contract. The package says to use it for 30 min a day....but i find it so easy and comfertable i use it at least 80min a day.
I have gone from a generally height/weight prop, with little definition....tonow i can actually see where my stomache actually "cuts" inwards....it looks so good....and all i do is watch my food intake(no junk)
As for a complaint in a review below...
1) i have never had a problem with batteries......same batteries for over two months...used everyday for at least 80min
2) The pads....i have found that if you make sure to properly place them, yes the stickyness wears off after about 30 uses...but that is only used to hold in place....THE BELT IS VELCRO!!!!!!!!! no need to always be sticky.....i just use a water base lube to keep the contact uniform across the pads....works like new pads.....never had a problem
p.s. its so easy to use i try to wear it whenever i am on my computer...matter of fact...its on right now :)
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!

really did not work
i have used this for a number of months, and it has not worked like it says it would. i have lost weight due to diet pills, but my stomach has not firmed up at all one bit.

Slendertone flex
I bought this product a few years ago from HSN. At first it freaked me out with the pulsing, but I've gotten used to it and it seems to work. The only thing is that you must place the pads precisely where the directions say so you don't hurt yourself. The pads last quite a while as long as you don't use them after you've put on body lotion.

Great Bike; Awful Seat
This bike is actually pretty nice and inexpensive as far as exercise equipment goes. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. The wheel is super quiet which means you can watch TV or I have even read while riding it. My only complaint is the horrible seat. It is really uncomfortable. I bought the Amazon recommended La-Z-Boy Triple Gel Bicycle Seat Cover which didn't fit quite right nor did it really help. I just sit on a cushion when I work out. Seems to work fine.

Nice and Quiet
I really like this little bike. I've been using it for two weeks. It fits perfectly in the corner of my room and I can watch TV without turning up the volume. I'm 5'6" so it is a nice size for me. As other reviewers have mentioned, the instructions for putting it together are pretty bad, but you can figure it out pretty easily yourself. I don't find the seat hard like other reviewers. I'm glad there is a product like this out there.

Great buy!
It came to my house within a week.
This was a great buy. Very easy to assemble. The bike is very quite and very easy to ride.
You may not be very comfortable with the seat but in vest in a seat you would like. It is definitely worth it.

Not for Serious Cyclists, Poor Build Design
After only 30 minutes of riding this bike, the resistance flywheel came loose and the pedals began to "slip".
I had to take the plastic side panels off and adjust a bolt, but the tension still wasn't very hard. I could ride comfortably on the 7th of 8th tension settings. The 8th setting wasn't actually that hard either. If you're not in great shape or cycling isn't your passion, you'll probably do fine with the tension provided. A little trick for those who want a cheap way to make this harder, however, is to place thin rare earth magnets on top of the magnets already in place. This will make it MUCH harder to pedal.
This thing also produces a TON of heat. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with mine and it is merely incurring way too much friction as the resistance wheel spins, but its hot enough to burn your fingers if you touched the surface for 2-3 seconds.
The computer is also cheap and doesn't incorporate resistance into MPH or calories burned. You get what you pay for, though.
Summary:
Easy assembly
Poor build quality
Not enough tension settings
Inaccurate computer
Works (for a while)

Excellent buy!
This exercise bike is very easy to assemble and it don't take a lot of space. Mine is in the living room. The bike is quiet and I don't disturb anybody and I can still watch TV and exercise. Bargain!

About Stair Steppers
Stair steppers continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same benefits as running stairs, but with the "any time, in any weather, without having to leave the comfort and safety of your home" convenience. Stair steppers don't take up much space, require moderate balance and coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors.
Following on the heels of treadmills and exercise bikes, stair steppers took their first step towards fitness machine success in the early 1980s. Like most exercise equipment, stair steppers have come a long way technically speaking. For example, advanced computers on most new models allow users to track their vitals at a glance. However, the most crucial benefits of stair steppers remain the impacts of cardiovascular and muscle tone fitness. Stair steppers continue to offer an exercise that is less jarring than treadmills, but more intense than elliptical trainers.

Wouldn't recommend
Not good - too hard to press down. If I utilized steppers before and this one was the worse one ever.

broke down
I ordered "Stamina InStride Electronic Stepper" last month. It has been only one month since I got it.But, yesterday when I used it,its steel wire rope snapped suddenly ! This stepper broke down!

Happy camper
It's exactly as advertised. So far I haven't had any problems. The assembly on it is very easy. It's very sturdy. My only concert is it's not making a funny, aqueaky noise in it's pully system. It hasn't affected how it works but make me nervous that it eventually could. Other than that, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great product!
I was a little skeptical when I read some of the reviews where people had problems with it breaking, but I am so glad I bought this stepper. I've been using it for a month, 6 days a week and no problems so far. It gives me a great workout. The only criticism I have is that the counter is inaccurate, but I just keep track of my progress using the timer instead of the number of steps. Also, it did squeak a little bit, but I read a suggestion from another reviewer recommending to WD40 the cable ends and the squeaking stopped immediately.
A great product for the price. I hate exercising, but don't mind it using this stepper. I've already lost 10 pounds!

poor design
Poorly designed, there is a metal strap that connects the foot pads together. I broke 5 of them in the 90 warranty period. I give them 2 stars, one because it is good exercise if you get to use it, and one because they did send the replacement parts quickly. I had to wait a month for the first replacement, but then usually only about the week for each of the others. They told me it was "not designed for a dedicated athlete like myself". What a crock. If you are looking for a decorative piece to sit in the corner this will probably do. But if you actually want to get some exercise I would look elsewhere. It seems to be a recurring theme with this company, look at reviews of some other products they sell.

AWSOME PRODUCT A+A+A+A+A+
I am a very active person and I go to the gym often.
I got this machine last month so that I can work out more while I am at home.
Believe it or not after only 5 mins of using the machine I started sweating.
The only down side is that it makes noices but I use it when I watch TV so the noice is not bothering me at all.

Bike excerciser
I am very happy with the bike trainer I purchased from Amazon. The shipping was very fast and the trainer was complete. It works great. No problems at all. I recommend this item to any who would rather not ride outside in the elements and the animals and the traffic.

Bike Trainer
I read reviews on this product before purchasing it. I noticed that all reviews were pretty much accurate. If you intend to train bicycle indoors, this Bell Motivator is perfect! The pros: It is really easy to assemble, It gives you a good workout, as if you were pedalling outside; The Cons: It does make a lot of noise! When I want to watch a video while working out, I use my earphones instead of putting the volume up, it works better for me. Also, you need some type of holder for your front tires, since the back stays at a higher level from the floor. I wanted a good aerobic exercise without spending too much money, I got it. In general, I recommend it. I'm very satisfied.

Good entry level trainer
This unit is sturdy and well built. It could use a bit more resistance, but it's adequate for a good workout.
Other reviews have complained about the noise, but I found that by using smooth road tires and underinflating the rear tire you can cut the noise down significantly. You just have to remember to pump it back up again before you go out on the street.

Great trainer, love it
I just bought this trainer because I cannot stand to ride outside in the cold this time of year. I was skeptical at first since it was so cheap but it got great reviews so I decided to try it. I loved that it came fully assembled and it took no longer than 5 minutes to get my bike on it.
As others have said, it is very noisy with a knobby mountaine bike tire. Since I lived in an apartment I only used it twice because of the noise. But that problem was solved by getting a slick road tire, the noise has been reduced to a slight buzzing sound, I probably won't even have to turn the TV up more than a notch or two more than usual.
It is a little heavy, but definitely movable. I live in a small apartment so it is a little bit of a pain to take the bike on and off each day or move the trainer, but it's not so heavy that I can't move it if I need to. And don't waste your money on anything to raise the front of the bike, the incline isn't that great and if need be a phone book would do the trick. All in all I love it and you probably won't find anything better for the money.

Perfect for winter.
Easy set up, ready to use out of the box. I use it for a light work out indoors. For the price and for my usage I'm very much satisfied with it. This may not be working out well for professional bikers who are looking to train for racing/triathlon. The resistance is not the greatest. I can't compare it to an up hill ride on road. But it provides enough resistance for me to get a decent work out. I have a 24 speed comfort bike. I use it with gears 6 to 8, 8 being the highest resistance. Yes, it's little noisier because of my hybrid tires. It's bearable, doesn't bother much. I'm able to watch TV or listen to music comfortably. It might be even less noisier if I change to a road tire. As with any other trainer this requires a riser block for front wheel. As many of the reviewers have suggested here, I'm using couple of thick unused telephone directories. Since the trainer holds the bike so strong, I don't feel any shaky movements of the whole setup during the workout. So if you are looking for a simple trainer just for the winter, not expecting the hardest resistance, don't want to shell out hundreds just for few months of usage every year this is a good product. BTW, I'm using the axle that came with the trainer. Didn't take long to put it on the bike.

The quiet magnetic resistance Eddy Current Brake provides a smooth ride. About Elliptical Trainers
Elliptical trainers represent the next wave of advancement in low-impact cardiovascular exercise machines and continue to grow in popularity. By simulating motions experienced through walking, stepping, cycling, and skiing, elliptical machines allow for a smooth and fluid motion while building strength in the arms and legs. Similar to the exercise position for treadmills, elliptical trainers are used by standing in an upright position while holding the handrails of the machine. With elliptical trainers, however, your feet remain in the foot pedals throughout the exercise regimen and circulate in a smooth and seamless motion, resulting in little to no impact on the knees, back, and hips.
Elliptical trainers are compatible for all ages and fitness levels and allow you to select the difficulty level through the incline and intensity settings. Additionally, elliptical trainers allow you to determine the complexity of your workout based on your needs, all while listening to music, watching television, or reading a magazine while exercising in the comfort and safety of your own home.
Although different types of elliptical trainers offer an assortment of features, many of them include an array of challenging programs, forward and reverse directional movement, EKG grip pulse handles, a lightweight portable design with easy fold-up capability, and a monitor displaying calories burned, distance, speed, time, and heart rate. Other types of exercise machines, namely treadmills and bikes, offer excellent cardiovascular exercise and muscular training for the legs in a forward-motion exercise. Elliptical trainers take this to the next level by offering an upper and lower body workout with dual motion, challenging and diverse programs, and a low-impact exercise machine that won't strain sensitive joints.

Excellent value
The elliptical is my favorite machine at the gym. I wanted to have one at home so it would be more convenient to use. But, I was concerned it would feel cheap or unstable. I have been very pleased with this purchase. The machine was fairly easy to assemble and feels sturdy while in use.

Honestly - It's Junk
I very seldom review products, but this one has been such a letdown I felt obligated to let others know my experience. I bought this because of a Consumer Reports recommendation and although I've had very good luck with their recommendations in the past, they missed it on this one. Without boring you with a bunch of detail I can sum it up with 200 dollars in repairs within the year. My recommendation would be if you just want an elliptical to hang clothes on, this will work fine, but if you want use it a couple times a week look elsewhere like Sole (my sole treadmill is fantastic). Schwinn used to make good stuff, but now have slipped to the quality of what you'll find at discount retail stores. It'll just take a few more years until word gets out that Schwinn quality is no more and the brand name will be destroyed. Right now they are just using the brand and selling junk. That's too bad. I suggest spending a little more for a good elliptical instead of giving a little less and then having to be troubled with breakdowns that when finished will put you right at the price of a good machine.

schwinn 418
I've had it for a month now, & have no complaints. It's very quiet, which is great for me since I work out late night. It was a little tricky to put together, & I did need someone stronger & taller than me to help put it together. All & all, very satisfied!

Nice Machine
Other than some misleading assembly directions, I am very satisfied. This is a great machine. It is silent, smooth and works well. Assembly time was about two and a half hours, but that included unpacking time and reading the directions a couple of times before starting.
There are two washers that are preloaded now, and the directions don't reflect this. So I loaded the washers in step 4, as directed. When I got to step 5, I was short two washers. Had to call Schwinn and they explained this to me. Had to take the machine partially apart again, remove the two washers from step 4, and use them in step 5.
It is really smooth and silent. I did not use any additional grease or lubricant, as some people have. I have used it for three weeks now, maybe 15-20 times. I really like it.

Figured out how to solve the squeak
First use was silent. But after the second use came the most annoying squeaking, usually in the middle of the workout and then subsiding. I found out Schwinn most often tells customers its from over-tightening. I adjusted some of the nuts (two connecting handle bar, two connecting foot pedals to fly wheel). The latter adjustment solved the problem. Heard elsewhere that adding synthetic lubricant to the few areas that came with a little lubricant applied to them also keeps the machine silent and problem free.
So far so good, very minimal to no noise and I'm very happy with how the machine feels and operates. Price is lower than most and it feels very sturdy for my 180lbs. I don't know if I can blame Schwinn for something I put together that has so many moving parts. I just wish they had troubleshooting info like this in the manual so I give it 4 stars.
